Job Description

As we expand globally, the next frontier of growth lies in emerging marketplaces—high-potential platforms shaping commerce across Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

As the Marketplace Lead – Emerging Markets, you will spearhead Ultrahuman’s presence across leading regional platforms like Coupang (Korea), Lazada and Shopee (Southeast Asia), Noon (Middle East), and others. These aren’t just distribution channels—they’re ecosystems that require deep cultural fluency, sharp local execution, and platform-native thinking.

This is a high-impact role where you will architect the go-to-market blueprint for Ultrahuman in emerging global marketplaces, driving growth, profitability, and long-term brand equity across regions with diverse customer behaviors and operational dynamics

Responsibilities

• P&L ownership across multiple non-Amazon marketplaces, ensuring revenue growth, cost efficiencies, and maximum market penetration.

• Align pricing, promotions, and cost structures to optimize profitability in different regions.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive growth plan for international marketplaces, including Coupang (Korea), Lazada, Shopee (Thailand), Noon (Middle East), and others.

• Localize product offerings, pricing, and promotions to align with market-specific demand trends.

• Leverage data-driven insights to improve product discoverability, conversion rates, and sales velocity across multiple marketplaces.

• Optimize customer acquisition strategies, organic visibility, and marketplace ads where applicable.

• Work closely with the supply chain team to forecast demand and manage inventory allocations across FBA-like fulfillment models in global marketplaces.

• Ensure optimal stock levels and rapid replenishment strategies to minimize stockouts and overstock risks.

• Collaborate with performance marketing teams to execute high-ROI campaigns, leveraging marketplace advertising tools for each platform.

• Identify high-growth opportunities, including seasonal promotions, bundling strategies, and platform-specific deals.

• Implement strategies to enhance customer feedback, reviews, and ratings across different marketplaces.

• Ensure best-in-class customer service support and post-purchase engagement to drive customer loyalty.

• Manage listing hygiene, SEO optimization, A+ Content (or equivalent), and compliance with marketplace guidelines to maintain top-ranked product visibility.

• Work with operations and logistics teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment, shipping compliance, and returns processing.

• Stay ahead of marketplace algorithm updates, emerging trends, and competitor activities in each region.

• Adapt strategies dynamically to gain share of voice and maximize sales potential in new and growing marketplaces.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with marketplace account managers, fulfillment providers, and regional partners to drive operational efficiency and platform-specific opportunities.


Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, marketing, e-commerce, or a related field.

• 5-7 years of experience in marketplace management, with a track record of P&L ownership, revenue growth, and multi-marketplace strategy execution.

• Proven success in managing non-Amazon marketplaces such as Coupang, Lazada, Shopee, Noon, Flipkart, and other region-specific platforms.

• Strong proficiency in performance metrics, keyword ranking analysis, financial modeling, and conversion funnel optimization.

• Ability to identify marketplace-specific challenges, troubleshoot operational inefficiencies, and drive automation for scalability.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience expanding marketplace presence in Asia (Korea, Thailand, Southeast Asia), the Middle East, and emerging global markets.

• Understanding of regional consumer behaviors, payment preferences, and fulfillment models in different geographies.

• Experience working with API-based marketplace integrations, pricing automation, and inventory forecasting tools.

• Proven ability to build and implement scalable systems to support business expansion across multiple platforms.

• Strong stakeholder management experience, ensuring seamless collaboration between business, supply chain, and marketing teams.

• High degree of ownership, a data-first mindset, and a results-driven approach to problem-solving.
