Venture Overview:

Currently in stealth mode, our startup is gearing up to revolutionize weight loss in Saudi Arabia. Our platform and app will empower individuals to transform their health and achieve their weight loss goals efficiently through safe usage of medical GLP-1 shots. But that's just the beginning. In essence, the app is a comprehensive end-to-end weight loss service, connecting patients with trusted medical professionals, personalized meal plans, and a customized weight loss program to support their journey towards a healthier lifestyle.

Position Overview:

As the first Customer Success Associate for our weight loss app, you will shape the future of a rapidly growing early-stage startup. We are looking for someone to join our team and be the primary point of contact for our customers in the early stages of launch. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing a state-of-the-art customer experience, has excellent communication skills, understands the dynamics of managing customers in a tech-enabled, and is interested in helping customers losing weight. Your Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries through various communication channels, primarily phone and chat (WhatsApp and CRM live chat), but also email.
  • Take over the communication with two of our partners, transferring patient information and handling appointment scheduling and medication delivery.
  • Provide accurate information and solutions to customer queries, concerns, and complaints.
  • Handle customer issues and escalations, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a comprehensive knowledge base of our platform, the services we provide, our terms of use, and what processes are in place to address customer inquiries effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal units, such as founding team, operations, product, and tech, to resolve customer issues and improve the overall customer experience.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and provide feedback to the relevant teams.
  • Strive to meet and exceed individual and team performance targets.

Your Qualifications & Experience:

  • Proficiency in English and Arabic (i.e. written and verbal proficiency) is a must.
  • Prior experience in a customer success or customer service role, preferably in a tech-based venture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Empathy and patience when dealing with customer concerns.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Adaptability to rapidly changing processes and procedures.
  • Aptitude for learning and self-improvement is a must.
  • Proficiency in using customer service software and CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot, Pipedrive) is preferred.

Additional Information:

  • On-site position with expectations that you would spend 3-4 days a week at our office in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
  • Expected to work ~40 hours per week, days not set yet, but potentially including weekend days.
  • Offer will be extended as a fixed-term contracting role with the opportunity to turn into a full-time position once the venture has been launched and carved out.
  • Must either be sponsored resident in Saudi Arabia (Iqama holder) or be a GCC national.
