Role overview:

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying potential clients and generating insights to engage them effectively. You will be responsible for improving sales processes leveraging the latest AI tools, and developing industry-specific insights, and supporting client strategy work. You will collaborate with various internal teams, and external ecosystem partners to ensure a seamless experience for our clients.

What you will do:

  • Constantly improve and execute business development processes, leveraging the latest AI tools and supporting systems to optimise efficiency and effectiveness
  • Identifying and qualifying new leads, conducting outbound prospecting, and nurturing existing relationships
  • Identify, engage, and establish partnerships with industry-specific organisations, thought leaders, influencers, and complementary businesses
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to generate industry-specific insights that can inform business development discussions and improve client engagement
  • Support business development efforts by participating in discussions with prospective clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored innovation solutions to address their challenges
  • Assist with business proposals, draft workshops materials, events
  • Conduct financial analysis and modelling to support proposals

About you

  • 2+ years experience in professional services environment i.e. Consulting; or in enterprise B2B services sales
  • Bachelor's degree in Business
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to transform data into actionable insights and strategies (creating presentation and leveraging financial models)
  • Ability to independently manage business development engagement and assist leadership with high-level inquiries and demands
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively
  • High level of proactivity and flexibility working in a fast-paced environment, as well as a “getting-stuff-done” mentality
  • Proficiency in CRM and sales development tools, knowledge of AI solutions is an advantage
  • Excellence in maintaining absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times
  • Fluency in English (additional languages is to your advantage)
  • Willingness to travel to Europe / Africa if the need arises
  • Full-time availability (part-time or freelance is not possible)
  • You are preferably based in London
