Position: Junior Accountant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting various accounting functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update financial records, including general ledger entries.

• Enter financial transactions into accounting software.

• Process invoices, track expenses, and manage payments.

• Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on outstanding invoices, and prepare aging reports.

• Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.

• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documentation and providing information as required.

• Support on VAT for processing and documentation.

• Organize and maintain financial documentation.

• Perform general administrative tasks as needed to support the finance department.

• Knowledge of Petty Cash Handling.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• Experience 0-1 year in UAE.

• Experience in accounting software and their functionality

• Knowledge of corporate tax

• Hands on experience on Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
