About the Role
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) or Account Executive (AE) at Pluto, you'll be on the front lines of our growth. Your mission is to identify, engage, and convert high-potential B2B prospects into long-term Pluto customers. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to deliver a consultative sales experience and drive revenue growth.
This is an ideal role for someone who is energized by outbound selling, thrives in fast-moving environments, and is excited about fintech innovation.
Responsibilities
Source, engage, and qualify new B2B leads through outbound outreach, referrals, and marketing-generated pipelines.
Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ financial operations and pain points.
Deliver compelling demos and presentations tailored to each prospect's needs.
Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from initial contact to signed agreement (AE focus).
Maintain detailed records of outreach, opportunities, and deal progress in CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot.
Collaborate with Marketing to optimize messaging, campaigns, and lead generation.
Partner with Onboarding and Customer Success to ensure smooth transitions for new customers.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly pipeline generation and revenue targets.
Requirements
3–5 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales, SDR, or business development role (preferably in B2B SaaS or fintech) in the MENA region.
Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting and closing new business.
Strong communication and storytelling skills both written and verbal.
High comfort level with sales tools (CRM, outreach automation, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.).
Driven, resourceful, and self-motivated. You know how to hunt and convert.
Ability to quickly understand complex financial software and explain it in simple terms.
Experience selling to finance teams, controllers, or procurement functions is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
