About the Role
As a Key Account Manager at Pluto, you’ll be responsible for nurturing and growing relationships with our most strategic B2B customers. You will ensure ongoing success and satisfaction through proactive support, identifying upsell opportunities, and working cross-functionally to deliver value. This mid-level role is ideal for a customer-obsessed relationship builder with experience in fintech or SaaS, who thrives in high-impact environments.
Responsibilities
Own and manage relationships with key portfolio or B2B accounts, ensuring long-term satisfaction, retention and growth.
Act as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor for enterprise-level customers.
Understand client goals and workflows to help them extract maximum value from Pluto’s platform.Conduct regular business reviews, performance check-ins, and upsell consultations.
Proactively identify risks or churn signals and execute plans to mitigate them.Collaborate with Sales on expansion opportunities and renewals.
Partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and inform roadmap decisions.
Maintain thorough and accurate account data in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
Track key metrics such as TPV, usage trends, and account health.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in key account management, customer success, or enterprise relationship roles in B2B SaaS or fintech.
Proven ability to build strong, strategic customer relationships and drive retention and growth.
Deep understanding of financial systems, payment platforms, or spend management tools is a plus.
Proficiency with CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and project collaboration tools (e.g., Slack, Asana, Jira).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
High emotional intelligence and a proactive, consultative mindset.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
