Technical Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and deploy AI agents and LLM-powered applications at scale, from quick prototyping, iterating fast into production.
• Use LLMs for both chat-based applications and logical backend services.
• Integrate with commercial APIs/SDKs (e.g. OpenAI, Google Gemini) and open source LLM frameworks.
• Develop AI-based backend services and APIs using Python ensuring clean schema design and maintainable code.
• Write production-grade Python with strong engineering practices and patterns.
• Experiment with, design, train, and deploy traditional ML where applicable.
• Work closely with product and engineering teams to deliver AI features used by real (internal & external) customers

Technical Requirements:

• AI Engineer 3-5+ years of experience in AI/ML/Data Science.
• 2 years hands-on experience in LLM/Generative AI projects.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Proven experience deploying LLM systems and AI Agents in production with real user adoption.
• Strong understanding and proven use of important LLM techniques, such as:

LLM memory & knowledge with RAG, Tool use & function calling, MCP, Structured outputs,

Streaming over an API, and Context engineering

• Deep knowledge of LLMs and generative AI APIs (OpenAI, Gemini) and open source ecosystems (HuggingFace, Ollama).
• Comfortable with modern Python development practices and tools (e.g. FastAPI, Pydantic, Ruff, uv).
• Strong software engineering skills and principles: API design, design patterns, scalability, reliability.
• Hands-on with SQL databases (Postgres) and exposure to data warehouses.
• Experience with traditional ML workflows including feature engineering, model training & validation, deployment, using common libraries such as Pandas, Polars, sklearn, XGBoost, PyTorch
