We are looking for a rockstar QA Engineer to join us and help our team transform the SME industry in the region.

Job Responsibilities

• Practice agile and continuous delivery by ensuring value is being continuously delivered in small batches.
• Work closely with product managers, architects and developers to ensure the software we develop is high quality and meets its functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop integration and end-to-end tests for APIs and web applications using TypeScript, Postman, Jest and Cypress/Playwright.
• Conduct performance testing using tools such as k6.
• Ensure automated tests and quality gates are a part of the CI/CD pipeline and being maintained by developers.
• Be the automated testing subject matter expert that developers can rely on for support and best practices.
• Enable test cases and increase workforce productivity through test data management.
• Perform exploratory and regression testing as a part of regular release cycles.
• Develop test cases and ensure testing evidence is captured for audits.

• You have 3+ years developing the systems under test, not just the tests themselves.
• You’re familiar with the testing pyramid and have extensive experience across all of its layers.
• You’re a strong communicator and can work directly with internal stakeholders to ensure systems are developed to a high standard.
• You’re familiar with CI/CD best practices and make sure quality is built into pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and trace complex issues in large-scale production environments.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
