CredibleX is a new Fintech player specializing in Embedded Finance, targeting partners who serve the SME banking and lending segment within the UAE. We tackle the difficulty most local SMEs face when seeking credit by removing the barriers that traditional lenders have in place. We want to make accessing credit simple, transparent, digital, and friction-free for those who need it most, local SMEs. CredibleX is also backed by a newly launched investment fund from the region, ensuring an unfair advantage from day one.

About the Role

As a Full Stack Developer based in Lahore, Pakistan, you will help us build new digital ventures from scratch that people love and use.You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications
• Define web/backend architectures and solutions from business requirements, produce estimates and timelines, and manage delivery against those plans
• Develop front-end website architecture which includes designing interactive, responsive, and dynamic web pages
• Develop back-end applications, databases, and servers for creating a highly functionalwebsite
• Work with others to ensure adherence to code standards and best practices
• Staying well-informed about the current developments in the world of web development learning about emerging concepts in full stack, and updating project leaders regarding the same
• Working with team members of different expertise to provide a user-friendly and smooth website application as an end result
• Ensuring the safety and security of the website/application/software developed
• Meeting with decision-makers and introducing new developments to the project to ensure optimal web development
• Develop and integrate Application Programming Interface (APIs) which is quite indispensable when it comes to working with different 3rd party software

About you

• 3+ years of software development experience,
• 2+ years of experience with Node.js & NestJS
• 2+ years of experience building production quality webapps using Reactjs
• Understanding of mechanisms and best practices for state management, data fetching and performance within the React ecosystem
• Knowledge of frameworks like Bootstrap/TailwindCSS for styling
• Expertise in working with SQL/NoSQL databases, particularly PostgreSQL, using TypeORM for data modeling and manipulation
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git
• Familiarity with concepts of RESTful APIs
• Strong test-driven mindset to ensure high software quality and safetyExperience in building & monitoring CI/CD pipelines for backend applications with tools like Github Actions, AWS Codepipeline
• Familiarity with AWS services for cloud infrastructure and deployment
• Understanding fundamentals of distributed system principles behind a scalable applications
• Experience with containerized services, preferably using Kubernetes
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot and trace complex issues in large-scale production environments
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
