About your role and responsibilities

This is a dynamic role that blends technical expertise in IT support with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices. The incumbent will be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, maintaining IT infrastructure, and implementing cybersecurity measures to safeguard the organization's digital assets. The role requires a versatile individual who can troubleshoot IT issues, manage security incidents, and contribute to the organization's overall cybersecurity strategy.

Your tasks & responsibilities:

• Take ownership of the corporate environment for the studio and early stage ventures
• Support our teammates with their IT-related inquiries
• Set up laptops with secure baseline configurations and provide ongoing support
• Assist in the implementation of cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices
• Install and operate firewalls, antivirus, email gateways, mobile device management and vulnerability management solutions
• Ensure the organization's systems are up to date with the latest security patches and updates
• Maintain accurate documentation of IT systems and cybersecurity procedures
• Generate regular reports on IT support activities, cybersecurity incidents, and system health

About you:

• Comfortable wearing multiple hats in a startup environment
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
• Proven experience in IT support roles with a solid understanding of computer hardware, software, networking, and operating systems
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, standards, and best practices
• Proficiency in security tools, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, antivirus software and mobile device management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

Bonus points if you have:

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM or Security+
• Experience with SOC2 or ISO27001 compliance
• Experience with incident response and management
• Experience with ITIL.
