The Job in a Nutshell💡
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant with a strong background in financial reporting, revenue recognition, and compliance, particularly within the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) industry. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in accounting, with expertise in SaaS financial operations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles to support financial planning, audits, and operational efficiency.

What Will You Do❓

Financial Operations & Compliance:

• Manage the full cycle of accounts payable (AP) and general ledger (GL) entries.
• Handle all tax filings and compliance reporting, including VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and Corporate Income Tax (CIT).
• Oversee the preparation and reconciliation of the trial balance (TB) and bank statements.
• Maintain and manage the fixed asset and depreciation register.
• Process and record intercompany (RP) transactions accurately.

Month-End & Year-End Closing:

• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Ensure all financial activities are recorded in accordance with IFRS.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal teams such as HR, Credit, IT, And Marketing to align financial and operational data.
• Manage vendor invoices, payments, and related inquiries.

What Are We Looking For❓

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a SaaS or technology-driven environment.
• CMA or DipIFR Certification is a must.
• In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Strong experience in financial reporting, general ledger, AP functions, and end-to-end closing processes.
• Very attention to details.
• Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
