The Job in a Nutshell💡

Provides leadership and expertise on hardware, applications, operating systems, security, storage, networking, environmental elements, monitoring, resource management, service desk, and support functions of the Infrastructure Unit in the Digital Enablement Division; and performs related duties as assigned.

What You Will Do❓

1. Leadership & Coordination:

• Plans, organizes, and directs operations, security, and deployment of IT infrastructure.
• Manages day-to-day IT operations, overseeing service desk, user support, and troubleshooting.
• Supervises, motivates, and evaluates IT staff.
• Provides skills training, manages performance, and contributes to HR decisions.

2. Technical Oversight:

• Ensures SLAs are met and installations adhere to best practices.
• Troubleshoots complex application problems and implements solutions.

3. Project Management:

• Manages multiple projects, providing technical guidance and overseeing implementation.
• Establishes budgets and timelines for new projects, monitors progress.

4. Service Excellence:

• Manages technical support for the organization and vendors.
• Improves customer satisfaction levels through consulting and support activities.

5. Collaboration & Support:

• Assists the Chief Technology Officer in achieving development goals and standards.
• Analyzes business needs, recommends solutions for information systems, and supports development.

6. Vendor Management:

• Evaluates vendor proposals for technology solutions, ensuring adherence to specifications.

7. Budget Oversight:

• Provides recommendations for the annual IT division budget.

What Are We Looking For❓

• 8+ years of hands-on experience managing IT infrastructure, communication & network management, system operations, service management, disaster recovery, application support, and information security implementation and operation.
• Azure Administrator, MCTS, VMware DC Virtualization & ITIL Certified
• Experience in Data Centre Management
• Clustering, Hyper-V, VMware & Linux Administration
• Cross-functional collaboration skills
• User-centric problem-solving skills

Who Will Excel❓

• Experience with SAMA Cybersecurity Framework
