About the Role

Hi all! The Product Manager for Marketplace will be responsible for the revenue and profit of our Marketplace which aims to help Foodics clients find the right app suitable to their needs to run their business. To accomplish this, you will work with our Partnerships team, Revenue, and Sales team, to ensure the success of our Marketplace.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Manage all product lifecycle of Foodics Marketplace - from strategic planning to tactical activities
  • Be the steward of the revenue contribution and profitability of your product portfolio
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products in the Marketplace by conducting market research supported by conducting visits to existing and non-existing clients
  • Develop business cases for each new product/product enhancement to demonstrate the viability of the product/capability, including target pricing and margin, addressable and realizable market, SWOT analysis, estimated development, implementation, and support costs, etc.
  • Handle new products /product enhancements through the development cycle to ensure what you have defined is built and delivered on spec on time and on budget
  • Develop pricing models for all products in your portfolio that are appropriate for the verticals and geographies into which these products are to be sold
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan to successfully launch new products /versions to current and new markets
  • Make sure our developers and partners are successful by helping them acquire new customers
  • Work with our executive leadership team as well as leaders across verticals (Gro, Now, Pay, Capital, 360), and organizations (Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Happiness, etc.) to grow our business.
  • Motivate other departments to build a strong partnership in delivering excellent products and services
  • Research and understand competitive offers in the products inside Foodics and competitors’ marketplace
  • Bachelor's degree in business or marketing field, MBA or equivalent business experience an asset
  • 1-3 years of experience in a Product Management role preferably in a B2B enterprise SaaS environment or relevant field
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about a product, product management methodology and its positioning in a marketplace
  • Strong ability to present ideas and information in influential and compelling ways
  • Ability to develop business relationships and communicate with partners and stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-starter with ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Must have strong and excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in English and Arabic is a must. Other European language is an advantage
  • Willing to travel within and outside assigned area
  • Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
